Hi, I’m Dorian Forscutt.

My name is Dorian Forscutt and I’m currently completing my HSC. I’m a fast learner who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in doing a job properly.

My distance education through FSDE taught me the importance of maintaining a positive and collaborative workplace which boosts team morale and efficiency.

I’m looking for a role where I can work hard, build experience, and contribute to a team. My goal is to gain real-world skills through meaningful work and keep growing from there.

My role at IGA involved a wide range of responsibilities, including stocktaking, operating registers, processing online and phone orders, and handling register counts which required a high level of trust and attention to detail. I was also involved in theft prevention, store openings, and closings. Working at IGA was a rewarding experience that helped me develop a strong work ethic and essential skills in responsibility, reliability, and customer service.

My work at the Tigermoth Café involves the preparation of dine-in and dine-out foods, I take orders both at the register and via phone. This work had me use strong communication skills to maintain a positive and friendly customer relationship.

Fundraising

I participated in unpaid charity work which included me going out into the local community to gather donations for the Red Shield Appeal. This work was both fun and extremely rewarding.

Temora High School / Keira High School

2019 – Present

My time at Temora High School and Keira has proved both challenging and rewarding. I was elected by my peers to the Student Council which saw me co-ordinate school events such as fund raisers. I enjoy both education and connecting with my peers. My school attendance from 2024 to current has been 100% with no sick days or absences. My current electives are Ancient History, English and Math, Hospitality and Business Studies.
